The Paul Revere Pub
Need a good place to eat near the Mid Ohio Race Track? If so. try the Paul Revere Pub on OH-97, just off US-42, in Lexington Ohio. They are open 8 A.M. to 8:30 P.M. everyday but closed Sundays.
Speaking of All American, who can beat Paul Revere. I know it's a somewhat cheesy name & many of the dishes are named in the same vein. However, the food is good, plentiful, & reasonable!
Jim Smith & I dropped in there for lunch a few weeks ago. The Pub is conveniently located on the route from almost all the motels to the track so we said why not? We both ordered breakfast, Jim had Eggs Benedict & I had a wonderful Western Omelet. Nothing like breakfast at lunch time washed down with some great draft beer to know you are on holiday! (The Paul Revere serves Breakfast all day) After the Friday races we went to a near-by Steakhouse & throughout the meal we both said "We should have gone back to the Paul Revere".
For Saturday lunch we watched the Soccer match while Jim had a Rueben that made my eyes water it smelled so good & I enjoyed a "Philly Bison with Cheesesteak. Out of this world. Satuday dinner was just as good as they had some home smoked Baby Back Ribs that beat any I have had in years.
Cheesy name, hokey dish names, good draft, full bar, & oh yes some of the friendliest people I've seen in a restaurant in some time. Find them all at the Paul Revere Pub.
