Hello, my name is Deborah Hopkins and I am the head of the Heartland Miata Club in Kansas City, Missouri. We are planning an event you might be interested in titled, “Romp Thru the Rockies with the Heartland Miata Club” in August, 2010. Peak to Peak Miata has hosted this event in the past but decided to wait till 2011 to have it again and gave us the okay to do it in 2010.

The adventure will take place in Breckenridge Colorado. The actual event begins Friday, August 6th and ends Sunday, August 8th. However, some of us are traveling out on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 and an informal 'greet and meet' mixer will be held in my condo on Thursday evening from 7-9PM.
There will be bags of goodies waiting for you when you sign in Friday morning at breakfast.
The signup fee is $25 per Miata which will include copies of maps, a goodie bag and 1 free t-shirt. Add't t-shirts will cost $10 each. These fees must be paid in advanced to the Heartland Miata Club and
mailed to 4309 N. Colorado, KCMO 64117 by January 31st, 2010.
February 1st, 2010 the sign-up fee will be $40 for each Miata thru March 31st, 2010, plus the cost of add'l t-shirts at $10 each.
Note: We have to pre-order such, plus items for the 'goodie bags'. Additionally, Beaver Run Resort will provide six car washing facilities and underground parking all free to us!
Much more is to come but the core is stated here.. Everyone will need to register with us as stated, via the form provided on our website. We are limiting the number of Miatas to 150 so as to keep things manageable and focus on the fun! And it will be fun!
Many Heartlandmiata members have already made reservations so, now its first come, first serve. So, let me know if you are coming. The Beaver Run Resort # is 1-800-525-2253 and tell them you are with the Heartland Miata Club 'Romp Thru The Rockies' Event.
We look forward to meeting Miata clubs from all over and spending time on the winding and twisting roads in the beautiful Colorado Rockies! Don't forget to bring your walkie-talkies! (And Swimming suits for the pool and hot tubs)
