Does anyone out there have any experience supercharging their Miata? Off and on for the last couple of year's I've considered putting a charger on Rupert, our '02 LS.   Now I'm hoping for some informed advice. I've had quite a bit of experieince driving cars with a turbo, but not a supercharger.  My objections to most turbos is their power curve is off-on like a light switch.  Also, non-factory designed turbo cars can be somewhat explosive.  I would like a few extra horses without going the cam, header, etc. route.  I've done all those things for years but I no longer have the race instinct.  I want to keep Rupert driver friendly so I can still go to the grocery or do whatever without all the problems "racemotors" can cause.   The new superchargers, especially the ones advertised for Miatas seem to be a nice compromise between a candle and a powder keg. Is anyone out there who has direct experience with a supercharger on a Miata or who knows someone who has?  If you can respond yes to either, please contact me "Rupert" as I have hundreds of possible questions.
