A Note From Our Club:
Finally! Spring is here and the weather has been great. We have already had a few topless days, the winter grime is off the car, our first drive and dine is under our belt, and the event schedule is on the website.
Our first drive was in less than great weather, but we still had a good showing and a great time. It took us to Magdalena"s in Coryodon and for ice cream afterwards. A few of us headed to the fourth annual Miata's at the Beach and had spectular weather except for continous rain on the trip home. Check the website for pictures of both events.
We will be headed to the Blueridge Parkway again this year, along with another trip to one of the state parks. I hope to be able to put some kind of something together for one day and invite other clubs in the region to join us, if just for a picnic somewhere along the way. We will seek out new places to eat, new roads to drive, and hopefully find a few new friends along the way. Check our event calendar occassionally to keep current of our plans. Our goal this year is the same as last – to make it the best yet!
