Miata Service Other Than Dealer
I bought a 99 Miata a while back. Love the car and it is fun to drive.
I am looking for a place to have service done, other than a
dealership. Currently, I am needing a new clutch installed. Just
wondered if I could get some recommendations.
Please either reply to this post or email me at j.pitcock@insightbb.com

For tire work & alignment I have been very happy with
Evolution Autosport
8051 Warwick Ave.
in Lyndon @ 425-4909
They are a Tire Rack installer so you can have your tires shipped directly to them. The mount and balance job they do is great. They actually use Torque Wrenches & Ratchets!
They also have a great alignment rack & know how to use it. Should you want to dial out oversteer or just realign to factory specs, they will do a great job.
Their rates are a little more expensive than some chain stores but less expensive than dealers and the work is done with lot more accuracy. I always feel more comfortable dealing with people who actually race and belong to car clubs. They belong to SCCA & the BMW club and currently are racing a Honda CRX SI.
PS: Tom McFadden is in Lyndon. 502-412-8030
I use Tom McFadden of Integrity Impoort Service. He is ASE certidied master technician. He is very good and at much less than a dealer. Charlie
James,
I like Scott Hall Imports http://scotthallimports.com/ in Middletown. He has reasonable rates.
