Find your cumin at Patel’s Market

If you just like to eat middle eastern fare, I suggest you check out my review of the Shalimar restaurant. If like me, you like to experiment on your own & want to do your own version of what Shalimar serves check out the Patel Brothers’ Market. After all, it’s just two doors down.

Patel’s is open till 11:00 p.m. seven days a week. So even if you’re just stopping at the Liquor Barn, you really should at least check out their veggie section.  Good, fresh, & much cheaper than Whole Paycheck.   There are also people always willing to answer questions, give advice, and even recipes so don’t feel cowed if you’re not familiar with any item you see.
